Hi, I’m Kat. I’m a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) offering virtual and in-person therapy in Windsor, Ontario for individuals navigating infertility, reproductive loss, pregnancy after infertility, perinatal and postpartum transitions, grief, anxiety, and other significant life changes. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by education in English, visual art, and psychology before completing my graduate training in social work. Those early disciplines continue to influence how I listen—to the stories people carry, the meaning they make of their experiences, and the ways identity and loss can reshape a life. Before I sat in the therapist’s chair, I sat in the patient’s. I navigated infertility, including IUI and IVF, multiple miscarriages, medical advocacy, and the complexities of the Ontario Fertility Program. These experiences don’t define my work—but they deepen my understanding of the grief, isolation, uncertainty, and resilience that can accompany reproductive journeys. I also understand that the emotional impact of infertility doesn’t simply end with pregnancy. Support is often still needed as you move through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. While infertility and perinatal mental health are areas of specialization, I also work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, identity shifts, and major life transitions. At its core, my work is about helping people make sense of the season they’re in and move toward greater clarity and steadiness.I believe you are the expert on your own life. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with intention. We’ll work together to untangle the impact of past experiences, develop coping tools that align with your values, and build patterns of thinking and responding that feel more supportive and grounded.Healing is rarely instant. Therapy can take time—not only to see meaningful change, but to find the right therapeutic connection. Feeling safe and understood matters. For that reason, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. It’s a chance for you to ask questions, share a bit about what you’re looking for, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.You don’t have to navigate this alone. If you’re ready to begin—or simply exploring whether therapy feels like the right next step—I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
